Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how DevPath Network, operated by Shafique Futuristic - SMC Limited, collects, uses, stores, and protects information from visitors, applicants, members, administrators, mentors, and other people who interact with the platform. It applies to the DevPath website at devpath.shafique.net, member portal, billing tools, support channels, event communications, community operations, and related services.
We use personal information to run the program, manage accounts, support members, process payments, communicate important updates, improve learning experiences, and protect the platform from misuse.
Information We Collect
We may collect account details such as your name, email address, phone number, password credentials, role, account status, invitation details, profile photo, location, institution, bio, onboarding progress, and other information you provide while joining or using DevPath.
We collect membership and billing records such as invoices, payment method choices, transaction references, payment status, coupon usage, uploaded payment screenshots, approval or rejection notes, reminder history, support history, and membership dates.
We may collect learning and participation information such as resource access, announcements read, event attendance context, support tickets, mentor chat messages, replies, feedback, and other interactions needed to provide member support.
We may collect technical information such as login activity, timestamps, browser or device information, IP address, security events, error logs, email delivery events, and usage data needed to maintain and protect the service.
Payment Information
Mobile money payments are handled through a payment provider. DevPath stores transaction references, phone-number context needed for reconciliation, provider status messages, and payment outcome details. DevPath does not need your mobile money PIN and will never ask you to share it.
For cryptocurrency screenshot review, DevPath stores the submitted proof file, transaction amount, invoice link, review status, reviewer notes, and related metadata. You should avoid uploading screenshots that reveal unrelated private information.
Where payment providers, email providers, hosting providers, or other processors handle information on our behalf, their own systems may also process data according to their terms and privacy practices.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, manage membership status, issue invoices, process or review payments, apply coupons, send receipts and reminders, provide portal access, assign mentors, answer support requests, run events, deliver announcements, and maintain accurate operational records.
We also use information to prevent fraud, investigate payment or account issues, troubleshoot errors, improve the platform, enforce program rules, protect members, and comply with applicable obligations.
Communications
DevPath may contact you by email, portal notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, phone, or other channels you provide. These messages may include account activation, invoices, payment reminders, payment outcomes, event reminders, security notices, support responses, program updates, and community information.
You can contact support if a communication is incorrect or if your contact details need to be updated. Some operational messages, especially billing, security, and membership notices, are necessary for the program and may continue while your account remains active or records must be kept.
How We Share Information
We do not sell member personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers only as needed to operate DevPath. These may include hosting providers, email delivery services, payment providers, analytics or monitoring tools, file storage, and support tools.
We may also disclose information when required to comply with law, protect DevPath, investigate abuse, enforce terms, respond to disputes, protect members or the public, or complete a business or operational transition involving the program.
Mentors, Administrators, And Internal Access
Administrators, mentors, and authorized support people may access information needed for their responsibilities. For example, admins may view invoices and payment records, mentors may view member context needed for guidance, and support people may review tickets or messages.
Access is intended to be limited to legitimate program operations. We expect anyone with internal access to handle member information responsibly and only for the purpose of running or improving the program.
Data Storage And Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, authentication, backups, provider safeguards, and operational review. No internet-based system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond to issues when discovered.
You also play a role in security. Keep your password private, use a secure email account, avoid sharing login details, and tell us quickly if you suspect unauthorized access or incorrect account activity.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the program, maintain account and billing records, resolve disputes, preserve audit trails, comply with legal or operational requirements, prevent abuse, and improve services.
Some information may be deleted, anonymized, or archived when it is no longer needed. Certain records, especially payment, invoice, support, and audit records, may be kept after membership ends where there is a legitimate reason to retain them.
Your Choices And Requests
You may ask DevPath to correct inaccurate profile details, update contact information, provide reasonable access to personal information associated with your account, or review whether certain information can be deleted. Requests may be limited where we need to keep records for security, billing, dispute handling, legal compliance, or legitimate program operations.
If you want to stop participating in DevPath, contact support. We may close or restrict your account and retain necessary records as described in this policy.
Cookies And Similar Technologies
The platform may use cookies, session storage, CSRF tokens, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember interface preferences, improve reliability, and understand basic usage. Some features may not work properly if your browser blocks essential cookies.
Children And Young Users
DevPath is designed for people who can responsibly participate in a professional learning program. If a young learner participates, they should do so with appropriate guidance from a parent, guardian, school, or responsible adult where required.
International Processing
DevPath may use service providers or infrastructure located in different countries. By using the program, you understand that information may be processed or stored outside your location, subject to reasonable safeguards and provider practices.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DevPath changes, as providers change, or as legal and operational needs evolve. The latest version shown on the platform applies from the time it is published unless a different effective date is stated.
