Program Terms

Program Overview
DevPath Network is a practical membership program operated by Shafique Futuristic - SMC Limited. It supports people who are learning software engineering, improving their professional habits, and building toward real opportunities. The program may include a member portal, curated resources, community updates, events, support channels, mentorship touchpoints, billing tools, and other learning experiences made available by DevPath.
These Program Terms explain how membership works and what we expect from members. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, paying an invoice, joining a community space, attending an event, or using the member portal, you agree to follow these terms.
Membership And Eligibility
Membership is intended for individuals who want to participate in DevPath activities in good faith. You are responsible for providing accurate account details, keeping your contact information current, and using the program for its intended educational and professional-development purpose.
DevPath may decline, pause, suspend, or remove access where a member misuses the platform, provides misleading information, violates community expectations, creates security risk, or disrupts the program experience for others.
Fees, Invoices, And Renewal
The first year costs UGX 35,000 and includes the one-time registration fee plus the first year of membership in one invoice. Renewal after the first year is UGX 25,000 per year unless the amount is changed in the future and communicated through the platform or official DevPath channels.
Invoices are due when issued unless a different due date is shown. Access to some or all member benefits may be limited while a required invoice remains unpaid, overdue, under review, rejected, or otherwise unresolved.
Promotions, coupons, discounts, or special offers may be limited by time, number of successful redemptions, invoice type, or other rules shown on the platform. A coupon slot is counted only after a payment using that coupon is successfully verified or approved.
Payments And Verification
DevPath may support different payment channels, including mobile money powered by a payment provider and cryptocurrency screenshot review. The available options can change depending on operational needs, provider availability, risk controls, or maintenance.
For mobile money payments, you must enter a valid phone number, approve the payment prompt on your phone, and ensure the account has enough funds. A payment is treated as complete only after the provider confirms success and the invoice is settled in the platform.
For cryptocurrency payments, you must send the correct equivalent amount to one listed wallet only and upload a clear transaction screenshot. A crypto submission is not final until it is reviewed and approved by DevPath. Sending to the wrong address, wrong network, wrong token, or an incomplete amount may delay or prevent approval.
DevPath does not support partial invoice settlement. If an amount is insufficient, mismatched, duplicated, suspicious, or linked to an already settled invoice, DevPath may reject the submission, request clarification, or close the attempt.
Access And Benefits
Member access may include portal features, selected resources, learning guidance, events, support channels, announcements, community spaces, and mentorship interactions. Some benefits may be seasonal, experimental, limited, manually reviewed, or dependent on your membership status.
DevPath may add, remove, rename, pause, or adjust features and benefits as the program grows. We try to keep the experience useful and current, but we do not guarantee that every feature, event, mentor interaction, resource, or community channel will always be available.
Learning Support And Mentorship
Mentorship and support are meant to guide your learning, decision-making, consistency, debugging habits, project work, and career preparation. Guidance may come from human mentors, program administrators, automated tools, or AI-assisted features where enabled.
Advice provided through DevPath is educational and informational. You remain responsible for your own decisions, work, submissions, interviews, applications, finances, devices, accounts, and professional conduct.
Community Conduct
Members must communicate respectfully and avoid harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, impersonation, exploitation, illegal activity, or behavior that makes the program unsafe or unproductive. Community spaces should be used for learning, collaboration, announcements, support, and relevant professional discussion.
You may not share another member's private information without permission. You may not use DevPath spaces to collect money, advertise unrelated services, distribute harmful files, solicit credentials, or misrepresent yourself or DevPath.
Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens through your account. If you believe your account, email, phone number, payment information, or community access has been compromised, contact DevPath support as soon as possible.
DevPath may reset access, restrict features, invalidate sessions, or require verification where we believe an account is unsafe or being misused.
Content, Resources, And Intellectual Property
Program materials, portal content, event content, templates, resources, messages, designs, brand assets, and other DevPath materials are provided for member learning and participation. Unless DevPath gives written permission, you may not resell, redistribute, rebrand, scrape, publish, or commercially exploit program content.
You keep ownership of projects, notes, code, portfolio work, and other materials you create, except where they include DevPath-owned material or third-party material subject to separate rights. When you share work with DevPath for support or feedback, you allow DevPath to view, comment on, and use that material only as needed to provide the program experience.
Events And Communications
DevPath may send notices through the portal, email, WhatsApp, SMS, phone, or other channels connected to your account. These may include invoices, reminders, payment updates, event notices, support replies, announcements, and membership information.
Event times, venues, speakers, links, and formats can change. DevPath will try to communicate important changes, but members are responsible for checking the portal and official channels for current details.
Suspension, Cancellation, And Removal
DevPath may suspend or remove access if a member violates these terms, fails to complete required payment, abuses support, creates risk, misuses community spaces, or acts in a way that harms the program or other members.
If access is removed, DevPath may preserve records needed for billing, audit, security, dispute handling, legal compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.
Errors, Corrections, And Availability
We work to keep invoices, payment status, reminders, member records, event details, and portal content accurate. If an error occurs, DevPath may correct records, reverse incorrect statuses, close duplicate payment attempts, reissue communications, or request additional verification.
The portal may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, provider downtime, internet problems, or changes to third-party services. DevPath is not responsible for losses caused by temporary unavailability or delays outside reasonable control.
Changes To These Terms
DevPath may update these Program Terms as the program, payment methods, community rules, or legal requirements change. The latest version shown on the platform applies from the time it is published unless a different effective date is stated.
